I solve problems through design.
After graduating with an AS in Design in Dallas, TX, I went back to school to receive both my BS and MA from Northern Arizona University. I completed the User Experience Design certification from Cornell University in April 2022.
I believe in seeing the bigger picture through empathy and empowering everyone around me to be their best selves. I believe in taking the riskier move. I believe in quality over quantity, and that ambiguity isn't stifling but instead an opportunity for creativity. I believe that my best ideas are still ahead of me... and that I am ready for them. I don't believe in failure or regret, because knowledge and growth come at a cost.
I have over 20 years of experience in a creative role where I have touched nearly every facet of design: architectural design, branding, UX/UI, website design, building visual identity from the ground up, WCAG accessibility standards, and advertising collateral for brands across multiple industries. For the last nine years I have served as Chief Design Officer for Essential Education, an ed-tech software and publishing company based in Oregon.
